They went from a would-be ronin to a pleasure house, to a marriage they weren't allowed to escape from, and then were nearly targeted by the yakuza for her husband's transgressions. They've seen the world as a cold, cruel place and lived to tell the tale, but they so desperately want to see the good in others.Ren desperately craves affection and friendship, wanting to be loved and cherished and maybe even treated like family. They find it hard to get close to others due to all they've suffered, but they keep trying anyway, hoping that maybe this time things will be different.Can you help her find the good in the world? Or perhaps you'll reassure her that her caution is certainly warranted...?

ADVENTURER. Ren is a skilled fighter who will take on whatever jobs she must to keep traveling. They want to see the world and learn of cultures outside of Hingashi, in the hopes that perhaps somewhere out there will be more hospitable to them.FIGHTING. Perhaps surprisingly, the gentle Raen is absolutely fascinated by different fighting styles, and always wants to learn more. Perhaps you could even teach them a thing or two about magic?GIL. She does need money to keep traveling though... maybe you've got a job or two for her?

HERITAGE. Ren is half-Raen Au Ra, half-Elezen and with no knowledge of their birth parents and little connection to those cultures. Perhaps you could teach them more?MUSIC. A deep love of music also defines Ren, and she'd love nothing more than to learn more songs or maybe how to play an instrument!OTHER? Have an idea I haven't mentioned?
